Received a Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences from Universidade de São Paulo (1999) and a Teaching degree in Biological Sciences from Universidade de São Paulo (2001). Has experience in Genetics and Biochemistry, focusing on Molecular Biology and Biochemistry of Microorganisms, acting on the following subjects: Saccharomyces cerevisiae, peroxisome, reactive oxigen species, peroxiredoxins, adaptative response, antioxidant response.
