Chemistry graduated at the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar). He was a scholarship holder for 4 years (FAPESP grants and PIBIC / CNPQ) in the Applied Instrumental Analysis Group (GAIA / UFSCar). He holds a master's degree and a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the Federal University of São Carlos (DEQ / UFSCar). He is currently developing post-doctoral studies in Chemical Engineering in the area of biomaterials (Fapesp). He has developed a PhD Sandwich project at the University of Bremen / Bremen / Germany. He has experience in Chemistry, with emphasis on Analytical Instrumentation and Chemometrics, in the area of Environmental Control with emphasis on cleaning of gases and in the area of synthesis and characterization of nanomaterials with antimicrobial capacity. He is currently developing research in the area of synthesis and characterization of membranes and hydrogels (for controlled drug release) for biomedical applications. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
