He has a degree in Biomedicine from the University of Marília (2007), a Master's degree in Oral Biology from the Sagrado Coração University (2009) and a PhD in Science: Morphology/Genetics from the Federal University of São Paulo (2012). He is currently a Professor at the Faculty of Medicine of Marília (FAMEMA), head of the Cellular and Molecular Biology discipline, in addition to being a Permanent Professor of the Postgraduate course at the Faculty of Medicine of Marília (Health and Aging). He is also a Professor at the University Center of Faculdades Integradas de Ourinhos. At FAMEMA, the Problem Construction Group (Active Methodology - PBL) and the NDE of the Nursing Course are members. At the Centro Universitário de Ourinhos he is Coordinator of the Research and Extension Center and the NDE of the Biomedicine Course. Develops research in an interdisciplinary area with an emphasis on Cellular and Molecular Biology, focusing on the analysis of gene and protein expression - mRNA and microRNAs, detection of polymorphisms and genetic profile of Helicobacter pylori, working mainly on the topics: Alzheimer's Disease, Gastric Cancer, Helicobacter pylori, Inflammation and Apoptosis.
