Bachelor in Chemistry from São Carlos Institute of Chemistry (IQSC) of the São Paulo University (2012). Master's (2014) and PhD (2018) in Science (area of #8203;#8203;concentration: Organic and Biological Chemistry) from the São Carlos Institute of Chemistry (IQSC) of the São Paulo University. She completed a sandwich doctorate at Baylor University under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Daniel Romo in the area of #8203;#8203;organic synthesis. She worked on the project "Discovery of rare actinomycetes antibiotics", developed by Cristália Produtos Químicos e Farmacêuticos in partnership with the São Paulo University. She was a postdoctoral fellow at the National Biosciences Laboratory (LNBio, Campinas) in the Bacterial Pathogenesis Group under the supervision of Dr. Andrea Dessen, and at CRID in the Faculty of Medicine of Ribeirão Preto - USP, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Thiago Mattar Cunha.
