Renan Felicio dos Reis

Graduated in Environmental Engineering (Dec/2008) from São Paulo State University "Júlio de Mesquita Filho" (UNESP) in Presidente Prudente - SP. Holds a Masters degree in Urban Engineering and a specialization in Environmental Management from the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar). Specialized in Occupational Safety Engineering at the University of São Paulo (POLI/USP). PhD in Urban Engineering from the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar), with research conducted as a visiting doctoral student at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB/Spain), within the Department of Chemical Engineering (member of GICOM - Grup d'Investigació en Compostatge). Holds a pedagogical certification for Professional Education at the Secondary Level (IFSP). Participated in Energy Utilization/Quantification projects (UNESP), with a focus on solar energy projects. Has been a research member of the GeTecSAM (Management and Technology in Environmental Sanitation) research group (CNPQ) since 2014. Has professional experience in consulting and project management in the fields of environmental sanitation and planning. Possesses teaching experience in higher education courses (Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Technology in Environmental Management), graduate programs (Specialization in Environmental Law and Management), and technical education (Integrated High School Environmental Technician). Served as Coordinator of the undergraduate program in Technology in Environmental Management for nearly 6 years (Feb/2015 to Feb/2019; and Apr/2021 to Feb/2023). Currently an EBTT professor in the area of technology in environmental management at the Federal Institute of São Paulo (IFSP) - São Roque Campus.
