The Brazilian Classical Guitarist Fabio Scarduelli has a PhD in Music Performance from the State University of Campinas in São Paulo, where he was also a post-doctorate researcher. He has recorded 2 CDs: in 2012 Música Paulista para Violão, which is the first complete recording of the Brazilian composer Almeida Prados work for solo guitar and in 2020 Brazilian Music for Classical Guitar, which has pieces written by Sergio Vasconcellos Correa, Milton Nunes, Lina Pires de Campos, Felipe de Almeida Ribeiro, and Pedro Cameron. Scarduelli has performed concerts, taught in universities, given masterclasses, and published articles in journals in Brazil. His students have gone on to win competitions in Brazil and around the world. He was also an artist at the Koblenz International Guitar Festival in Germany in 2018, 2019 and 2023, where he gave lectures, masterclasses, and was also a member of the competition jury. Scarduelli is a professor at the School of Music and Fine Arts of Paraná in Curitiba, teaching classical guitar to both undergraduates and graduates. He is also a professor at the State University of Campinas in São Paulo, supervising students in the Doctorate Program in Music. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
