Universidade São Judas Tadeu (USJT). Faculdade de Tecnologia e Ciências Exatas  (Institutional affiliation from the last research proposal)
Birthplace: Brazil

Graduated in Electrical Engineering from Universidade São Judas Tadeu (USJT, 1994), with a master's degree (1997) and a Ph.D. (2002) in Sciences from the Institute of Physics at the University of São Paulo (IFUSP), researching the optical characterization of semiconductor nanostructures and quantum well lasers. He conducted a research internship at Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena, Germany (1999), and a postdoctoral fellowship in the growth and characterization of InAs nanostructures (2002-2003). A professor at USJT since 2003, he teaches courses in Physics, Electromagnetism, and Electrical Materials, in addition to working in the Professional Master's Program in Civil Engineering, researching nanotechnology applied to materials and electrical measurements of cementitious composites. He is a member of the Institutional Committee of the Institutional Scientific Initiation Scholarship Program at USJT (PIBIC-USJT-CNPq) and the Technical and Scientific Committee of the Journal of Urban Technology and Sustainability (e-ISSN: 2675-780X). In 2023, he was a visiting professor at Instituto Mauá de Tecnologia (IMT), teaching Physics, Linear Algebra, Numerical Calculus, and Introduction to Quantum Computing. A member of the Brazilian Physical Society (SBF) and the Brazilian Mathematical Society (SBM), his research focuses on nanotechnology applied to materials, the optics of semiconductor nanostructures, and quantum computing, emphasizing the interface between science, engineering, and technological innovation.
