She holds a degree in Chemistry (Bachelor's and Licentiate's degrees - 2004) and a master's degree in Chemistry (2006) from the Federal University of Viçosa, and a PhD in Chemistry (2010) from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP) with an internship abroad at King's College London. She did a postdoctoral fellowship at UNICAMP with a FAPESP scholarship between October 2010 and September 2013 and a Repsol/Funcamp scholarship between October 2014 and February 2015 (supervisor Prof. Paulo Rosa). She has been an Adjunct Professor at UFSCar - Araras Campus since March 2015 in the Chemistry Licentiate's Course, being vice-coordinator of the course in 2019, coordinator of the course in 2020, and in the biennium 2022 to 2024. She is a permanent professor in the Postgraduate Program in Science and Technology - Chemistry at UFABC and the Postgraduate Program in Materials Science at UFSCar - Sorocaba Campus. She works in the area of #8203;#8203;Physical Chemistry with an emphasis on colloidal and polymeric systems and surface and interface phenomena. She has experience in rheology, electrospinning, small-angle X-ray scattering (SAXS) and neutron scattering (SANS), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and atomic force microscopy (AFM).
