PhD in Neurology/Neuroscience from the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP, 2010), Masters in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Mogi das Cruzes (UMC, 2007), and Bachelors degree in Physiotherapy from Universidade Iguaçu, Campus V Itaperuna (2004). Completed a postdoctoral fellowship in the Department of Physiology at UNIFESP (2013). He is a member of the Brazilian Society for the Advancement of Science (SBPC), the Brazilian Society for Neuroscience and Behavior (SBNeC), and the Society for Neuroscience (SfN). Holds additional certifications in Epilepsy from UNIFESP (2010) and in Neuroscience from the Edmond and Lily Safra International Institute of Neuroscience of Natal and the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN, 2008). Received advanced training at the Institut de Neurobiologie de la Méditerranée (INMED) in Marseille, France (2011), and at the Centro de Biología Celular y Molecular of the National University of Córdoba (UNC), Argentina (2008), both sponsored by the International Brain Research Organization (IBRO). Formerly, he was a researcher at the Brain Institute of the Albert Einstein Israeli Hospital and at the Technological Research Center of UMC. He served as an advisor for master's and doctoral students in the Graduate Program in Neurology and Neurosurgery at UNIFESP and in the Integrated Program in Biomedical Engineering at UMC. He is currently a researcher at the Cancer Hospital of Muriaé Fundação Cristiano Varella (FCV), an Associate Researcher of the Brazilian National Network of Science for Education (Rede CpE), and the National Network of Physical Activity Neuroscience (ReNAF). He is also Deputy Coordinator of the Minas Gerais Network for Translational Research in Oncology (RMPTO) and a consultant for the Interdisciplinary Area (Chamber IV) of CAPES (2022). He coordinates the Research and Development Department at FCV and serves as Editor-in-Chief of the Revista Científica da FAMINAS. He is a faculty member for the undergraduate research courses TCC1 (Research Project) and TCC2 (Scientific Paper) in the School of Medicine at Centro Universitário Redentor (UniRedentor). Previously, he coordinated the Scientific Initiation Program at Faculdade do Clube Náutico Mogiano, engaging approximately 10 of the institution's student body. His research experience encompasses Oncology and Neuroscience, with a focus on brain plasticity and development induced by lifestyle factors, physical activity, nutrition, and transcranial photobiomodulation. To foster neuroscience education at the secondary school level, he organized free Neuroscience courses and the São Paulo Brain Bee for high school students from both public and private schools, reaching over 800 students and 300 teachers in São Paulo and surrounding areas.
