PhD in Geography from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), with a focus on Climate Change Vulnerability. Awarded the 2023 National Prize for Best Doctoral Dissertation in Geotechnologies by the Brazilian Association of Graduate Programs and Research in Geography (ANPEGE). Currently serves as a Climate Change Specialist at the Scientific Technical Committee of the Civil Defense Agency of the State of Santa Catarina, where she was honored as an Ambassador of the Civil Defense in Schools Program. She is also a Collaborating Researcher at the Institute of Geosciences, University of Campinas (UNICAMP), conducting applied research in climate change, territorial planning, and climate justice.She holds a Bachelors, Teaching Credential, and Masters degree in Geography from UNICAMP. Her professional path is marked by the coordination and implementation of interinstitutional projects on urban and regional planning, socio-environmental risk assessment, climate adaptation, and resilience-building. She previously worked as a GIS analyst at IPT (Technological Research Institute of São Paulo) in the Erosion and Flood Mapping Project, and in the IBGECEMADEN partnership project on population characterization in risk areas in Brazil.She has collaborated with institutions such as IBGE, IPT, WRI Brasil, GIZ, UNICEF, the United Nations System, and Brazilian federal ministries, producing technical reports, vulnerability models, territorial indicators, and knowledge products to support public policy. She has a strong record of working with Indigenous Peoples and traditional communities, combining geotechnologies, participatory mapping, and social justice approaches.She has advanced technical skills in GIS tools (QGIS, ArcGIS), spatial analysis, and scientific reporting, and experience in fieldwork, facilitation of participatory workshops, and grassroots capacity-building. Her main areas of interest include: climate risk analysis, climate change adaptation, nature-based solutions (NbS), climate justice, and international technical cooperation.
