Graduated in Mathematics from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (2011). During graduation, he did scientific initiation in "Two-Body Problem", "Chaos and Stability" and "Qualitative Theory of Differential Equations and Vector Field Compactification", the latter with financial support from FAPESP. He attended the Master's course at the same educational institution, with an emphasis on the Field of Vectors with Two Zones with financial support from CAPES, and completed his Doctorate at Universidad Autonoma de Barcelona with financial support from CNPq. He is currently doing a post-doctorate at the Institute of Biosciences, Letters and Exact Sciences - Unesp, São José do Rio Preto Campus and at the University of Texas at Dallas with financial support from FAPESP. We will study flows on invariant algebraic surfaces via analysis of systems with impasses. We will investigate the connexion of such problems with the Geometric Theory of Singular Perturbation. We will look for conditions that guarantee the existence of minimal sets and invariant manifolds of systems with symmetries. (AU)
