Food engineer since 2006. MSc and PhD in Food Engineering College (University of Campinas, UNICAMP, Brazil). Currently works at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). Worked as researcher for the Brazilian Biorenewables National Laboratory (LNBR) at the Brazilian Center for Research in Energy and Materials (CNPEM). Former postdoc at the Engineering and Public Policy of Carnegie Mellon University (CMU). Student Council Representative for the International Association for Energy Economics (IAEE) in 2009 and 2010. Research topics: economic, social and environmental impact assessment, techno-economic analysis, input-output analysis, life cycle assessment, environmental and socioeconomic impacts of technologies, modeling and simulation, land-use change, biogeochemical cycles, environmental valuatiojavascript:void(0)n, ecosystem services.
