He holds a Degree in Geography from the Federal University of Mato Grosso (1992), a Bachelor's Degree in Letters (Portuguese, with an emphasis on literary studies) from the Federal University of Paraná (2004), a Degree in Chemistry from the Federal Institute of São Paulo (2020), a Bachelor's Degree in Letters (French/Portuguese) from the Faculty of Philosophy, Letters and Human Sciences/USP (2022), a Degree in Letters (French/Portuguese) from the Faculty of Philosophy, Letters and Human Sciences/USP (2022), Master's and PhD in Human Geography from the University of São Paulo (1997 and 2002) and Habilitation in Economic, Political and Social Foundations of Geography (2021) from the Faculty of Philosophy, Letters and Human Sciences/USP. He is currently an associate professor at the University of São Paulo and vice-coordinator of the Graduate Program in Latin American Integration (PROLAM/USP). He has experience in the area of Geography, with an emphasis on Agrarian and Urban Geography, working mainly on the following topics: Latin America, Amazon, city, geography, agriculture, urbanization and literature.
