Associate Professor (since 2012) of the Department of Linguistics, Institute of Language Studies (IEL), State University of Campinas (UNICAMP), in the field of Neurolinguistics. Ministers subjects for the undergraduate courses of Letters, Linguistics and Speech Therapy and for the Post-Graduation Program in Linguistics. She occupied the associate coordination of Speech Therapy (2007 - 2010), the associate coordination of Linguistics (2011) and was the coordinator of Linguistics (2013-2014). Graduated in Letters (1987), with Master Degree (1992) and Ph.D.(1999) degrees in Linguistics (area of Neurolinguistics). She completed three Post-Doctorate Programs in Neuropsychology: in June 2008, at the Medical Sciences Institute (FCM)/ UNICAMP, which included, in 2006, a short residence at the Benton Laboratory of Neuropsychology of University of Iowa, USA; the second in 2010 at CERIN - Cognitive Science Institute of the University of Trento, Italy, and the most recent, in 2017, at Fondazione Santa Lucia, Universidade Tor Vergata de Roma, Italy. Since 2006, she is responsible for Group III of CCA (Centro de Convivência de Afásicos), developing projects of community extension. Since 2010 is the leader of GELEP (Grupo de Estudos da Linguagem no Envelhecimento e nas Patologias/Plataforma Lattes-2010), which she also founded and where she develops and supervises research oriented by socio-cutural approaches, in the research line: Brain, language and Mind (Language and Thought, Neurolinguistics. The main themes of interest are aphasia, dementia, normal and pathological aging, as well as Semiotic and Philosophy of Language, with special interest in Bakhtin. Since 2009 has a scholarship (Bolsa de Produtividade em Pesquisa, CNPq). From 2013-2015 she was the president of GEL (Grupo de Estudos Linguísticos do Estado de S. Paulo). Since 2017 is the chief-editor of Cadernos de Estudos Linguísticos (CEL), the journal of the Department of Linguistics, Institute of Language Studies (IEL), UNICAMP. . (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
