Holds a degree in Biological Sciences from Universidade Metodista de São Paulo (2012), a Master's (2016) and a PhD (2021) in Sciences, specializing in Human Physiology, from the Institute of Biomedical Sciences at the University of São Paulo (ICB-USP). Currently, she is a postdoctoral researcher at the Cellular and Molecular Bases of Renal Physiology Laboratory, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Karina Thieme (ICB-USP), and is conducting research at the III Department of Medicine at the University of Hamburg-Eppendorf (Hamburg, Germany), under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Tobias B, Huber. Her research focuses on Organ and System Physiology, with an emphasis on Renal Physiology. She has experience in topics such as the pathophysiology of acute kidney injury and diabetes, with a particular focus on molecular mechanisms that may be associated with the development of chronic injury.
