Birthplace: Brazil

Pharmaceutical Biochemist from the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Araraquara-UNESP. Masters and PhD from the Graduate Program in Pharmaceutical Sciences at UNESP, with international internships at the Institute of Molecular Sciences (ISMO) of Paris-Sud University during her masters, and at the Institute of Porous Materials (IMAP) of the Higher School of Industrial Physics and Chemistry of the City of Paris (ESPCI)/École Normale Supérieure (ENS), France, during her PhD. Currently, she is a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Chemistry - UNESP Araraquara. She is also a FAPESP postdoctoral fellow at the Institute of Chemistry at UNESP. She has experience in the development of nanomaterials, especially luminescent nanoparticles and nanocarriers, such as metal-organic frameworks (MOFs), for diagnostics and controlled drug and biopharmaceutical delivery, mainly aimed at cancer treatment and for antimicrobial activities. She has extensive knowledge of physico-chemical material characterization techniques (XRD, SAXS, FTIR, TG/DSC, BET Porosity, Scanning and Transmission Electron Microscopy), performance evaluation (dissolution, in vitro permeation), and mechanism of action evaluation through in vitro mammalian cell culture assays aimed at drug delivery. She has an h-index of 12 and 1079 citations (Google Scholar). (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
