Elizeu Coutinho de Macedo is a Psychologist, graduated from Universidade de São Paulo (USP), Ph.D. in Expermental Psychology, University of São Paulo. Coordinator of the Social and Cognitive Neuroscience Laboratory, Center for Healthy and Biological Sciences, Mackenzie Presbyterian University. It is Adjunct Professor at the Graduate Program in Developmental Disorders (Masters and Ph.D.), Mackenzie Presbyterian University. He was coordinator of the same program (2008-2012). He is president of Mackenzie?s Committee on the Use of Human Subjects and Mackenzie´s Committee on the Use of Animals Subjects. Receives funding from CNPq (productivity in research), FAPESP, CAPES and MackPesquisa. Teaches courses in Neuropsychology, Statistical Methods, Psychological Assessment and Neuroscience. Develops research on the cognitive development, learning difficulties, literacy and alphabet phonics. He has more than 220 papers and chapters published and has trained more than 25 students (between master degree, doctors and post-PhD) (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
