Holds a bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from the University of São Paulo (2013), an associate's degree in Health Informatics from the Federal University of São Paulo (2024) and a Science Doctorate in Biotechnology from the University of São Paulo (2019). Had a doctoral stay (through BEPE-FAPESP) at the Harvard School of Public Health (2018). Completed a postdoctoral internship at the Federal University of Ouro Preto (2019-2022). Has experience in the areas of Bioinformatics, Cellular and Molecular Biology, with an emphasis on DNA repair, inflammation, metabolism, aging and cancer. Is currently developing a project as a FAPESP postdoctoral fellow (2022-Current), investigating transcriptome-level gene expression alteration in neurological diseases, through bioinformatic analyses of miRNA-seq and single-cell RNA-Seq. Had a 5-month post-doctoral stay in University of Copenhagen, studying single-cell neurobiology of schizophrenia. Has experience and interest in university extension, having organized and taught extension courses, as well as presentations and organization of events aimed at the popularization of science.
