Her research focuses on improving care for individuals experiencing mental health challenges, with particular attention to those facing severe social stigma, isolation, and marginalization, such as people with problematic substance use and those who hear voices. Grounded in the recovery framework and a psychosocial approach, her studies aim to understand these individuals' experiences, analyze care practices, and investigate innovative strategies to alleviate suffering, reduce stigma, foster a sense of belonging, and promote citizenship. In the field of substance use, her research examines care practices for diverse populations, including adolescents, women, and individuals in vulnerable contexts. She places special emphasis on the needs of women, who are often highly marginalized in situations of substance abuse, striving to identify ways to improve health services. Among her areas of investigation is the study of support groups for mothers seeking treatment for dependence, with a focus on understanding how these initiatives can be structured, their impact on care, and the challenges involved in their implementation within health services.Regarding individuals who hear voices, her research explores the feasibility, impact, and mechanisms of peer support groups, seeking to understand how these initiatives can be effectively implemented in the Brazilian context. Her studies have been funded by FAPESP, CNPq, CAPES, and PAHO/WHO. Concerned with scientific dissemination, she is dedicated to translating the knowledge produced into accessible formats for society through educational videos, posts, and other content. These materials are published on the YouTube channel, two Instagram profiles, and the LePsis website. Additionally, she manages a third Instagram profile and the website of the Ribeirão Preto Hearing Voices Group, where she promotes activities, announcements, and information related to the subject http://sites.usp.br/lepsis/ https://sites.usp.br/ouvidoresdevozes/ Instagram: @lepsisusp @clarissacorradiwebster @ ouvidoresdevozes_rp Youtube: Lepsis FFCLRP USP (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
