Associate Professor III (MS-5), under a Full-Time Dedication to Teaching and Research (RDIDP) regime, at the Department of Medical Imaging, Hematology and Clinical Oncology, Center for Imaging Sciences and Medical Physics (CCIFM), Nuclear Medicine Area, Faculty of Medicine of Ribeirão Preto, University of São Paulo (FMRP-USP). Works in a highly complex university hospital environment, integrating teaching, research, assistance, and technological innovation. Is the coordinator and supervisor of the Nuclear Medicine Section of the Hospital das Clínicas of FMRP-USP, as well as supervisor of the Medical Residency Program in Nuclear Medicine.Holds a degree in Medicine from the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU), Medical Residency in Neurology from the Hospital das Clínicas of FMRP-USP, Specializations in Clinical Neurophysiology and Nuclear Medicine from HC-FMRP-USP, and a Master's and Doctorate in Medical Sciences (Neurology) from FMRP-USP. He acts as a postgraduate advisor in the Medical Clinic Program at FMRP-USP (CAPES 7) and in the Inter-unit Program in Bioengineering (EESC/IQSC/FMRP-USP CAPES 4), contributing to the training of human resources at the undergraduate, master's, doctoral, and postdoctoral levels.Throughout his academic career, he has consolidated a continuous and coherent line of research in translational molecular imaging, applied to neuroscience and oncology, with an emphasis on the use of SPECT/CT and PET/CT methods, functional neuroimaging, epilepsy, computer-aided diagnosis (CAD), and the development of software applied to health. This scientific agenda has resulted in significant scientific production, with more than 120 publications in international and national journals, in addition to 6 book chapters, reflecting a consistent bibliometric impact (H-index 22 Web of Science).He is also notable for training highly qualified human resources, having supervised dozens of undergraduate research students, master's dissertations and doctoral theses, as well as postdoctoral researchers and academic supervisions associated with translational and technological projects. This work contributes to the training of researchers with an interdisciplinary and translational profile, integrating basic science, clinical practice and technology.In the area of #8203;#8203;scientific and institutional leadership, he is the Technical Director of the SUPERA Innovation and Technology Park in Ribeirão Preto, President of the Board of the SUPERA Startup Incubator and a member of the Technical-Scientific Council of the SUPERA Park, with a strategic role at the interface between the university, the health system and the innovation ecosystem. He is the innovation director of the Center for Artificial Intelligence in Health Management (ciaGsaúde) at the University of São Paulo, in partnership with FAPESP. Has a history of securing and coordinating projects funded by competitive agencies, including previous experience as a CNPq Research Productivity Fellow Level 2 (20092012), demonstrating leadership skills, the ability to execute complex projects, and the sustainability of their scientific agenda.
