Professor at the Physics Institute of USP, he holds a degree in Physics (2004), a master's degree in Science (Physics Teaching, 2006), and a doctorate in Education (Science and Mathematics Teaching, 2010) from the University of São Paulo. He completed a doctoral internship at the SPHERE - Sciences, Philosophie et Histoire laboratory of the CNRS-France (2008-2009) and worked as a visiting researcher at the Niels Bohr Archive in Copenhagen (2024-2025), where he remains a collaborator. He has experience in the areas of History of Science, Epistemology, and Education, mainly working on the following themes: History of Physics in the 19th and 20th Centuries, History of Science in Brazil, Cultural Studies of Science, and Modern and Contemporary Physics Teaching. He coordinates the Group on Theory and History of Contemporary Science (TeHCo) and the Historical Archive of IFUSP [portal.if.usp.br/tehco/]. He is a member of the board of the Brazilian Society for the History of Science (SBHC) and editor of the Brazilian Journal of the History of Science (RBHC).
