Abstract

The application of reinforcements on plates is very important to increase products strengths and sometimes applied to promote higher heat dissipation efficiency. The understanding of the design of simple plates regarding thermal and mechanical characteristics, visualizing future utilization, favors the development of optimized and robust products. This paper aims to present a simplified plate segments (2D) in order to understand and ponder mathematically, by novelty Multiphysics (FEM) and statistically (DOE), its design possibilities under external variables. The identification of main effects and interaction between such variables (design, pressure and temperature) can significantly contribute to improve the design of real products.
