Abstract

Under conditions similar to those in Shashkov and Shil'nikov (Differ Uravn 30(4):586-595, 732, 1994) we show that a Lorenz-type map T has a codimension one foliation which is invariant under the action of T. This allows us to associate T to a one-dimensional transformation. (AU)
