Abstract

We report a record optical-to-optical efficiency of 43% and a slope efficiency of 48% for a Nd:YLF laser emitting at 1314 nm. The crystal was side-pumped by a VBG-equipped diode emitting at 797 mn, with a peak power of 1545 W. We also report simultaneous dual-wavelength emission, at 1313 nm and 1047 nm. (AU)
