Abstract

A rigorous simulation of segmented waveguide (SWG) crossing is presented, using the two-dimensional finite element method (2D-FEM). The transmission and crosstalk of the SWG crossing are computed and compared with equivalent continuous waveguide (CWG) crossing. (AU)
