Abstract

Tests are being carried out at the TA-2 wind tunnel to obtain the velocity and pressure distributions at the test section. The airflow conditions must be known to fulfil the required accuracy of tests. A rake composed of Pitot tubes was used to measure local static and total pressures of the flow. The test section region considered here is related to the transverse central area. The estimated parameters are velocity and pressure coefficient. Uncertainties associated with these parameters are evaluated according to metrological standardisation. Calibration curves are supplied using the least squares fitting. Results revealed a gradient in airflow parameters. (AU)
