Abstract

In this paper we study the stability of steady solutions for the magnetohydrodynamic equations in a bounded domain of R(3). We obtain a class of steady solutions in the Lebesgue space L(sigma)(3) x L(sigma)(3), which are exponentially stable. In particular, we prove the existence of fast decaying strong solutions for the non-steady magnetohydrodynamic equations. (AU)
