Abstract
This workshop will provide an overview about several imaging techniques for seed and seedling analysis. The participants will learn about different imaging techniques for seed and seedling evaluation such as multispectral imaging, X-ray and micro X-ray fluorescence (µXRF) imaging, electrophotography, infrared thermal imaging, chlorophyll fluorescence, 3D X-ray imaging, and magnetic resonance imaging. Participants will acquire hands-on experience with multispectral imaging to evaluate seeds, seed surface characteristics, and chemical properties.
