Abstract
The incidence of chronic diseases such as diabetes and obesity, as well as genetic diseases such as cancer, has increased in recent decades due to several socio-economic and environmental factors. Thus, interest in environmental factors that interfere without intra-uterine development and rnorphofunctional, genetic and epigenetic promovamzy, including how they can be transmitted to offspring are of paramount importance. The literature has shown that some toxic medications have an ability to increase susceptibility to cancer, creating a scientific perspective of great interest to our group. Phthalates represent a group of chemicals in the industry and are found in different concentrations in the urine and without plasma of humans. Thus, the objective of the study will be to investigate whether a gestational and lactational exposure to different concentrations of a phthalate mixture of phthalates and capable of modifying the rat prostate morphology, as well as altering the expression of mRNAs and miRNAs related with tumorigenesis and development in the F1 and F2 generations. Pregnant female rats (DG10 to DPN21) will be divided into 4 experimental groups: control (vehicle); 20 ug /kg/day, 200 ug/kg/day, 200 mg/kg/day) and they will receive these concentrations in the following ratio: 19% DEHP, 36% DEP, 15% DBP, 10% DiBP, 8 % BBzP and 10% DiNP. The prostate will be collected for the analyzes in the DPN22 and 120 (F1) and I DPN22 (F2). (AU)
