Abstract

This project aims approaching the comprehension of productive transformation on the rural area and the education of the people living in this area, specifically from Sao Paulo inner and rural settlements. The main idea is to increase the researches about the economic and social dynamics of rural settlements in Sao Paulo state, gathering three central analysis focus: the conditions of economic reproduction in settlements area, and effectiveness and barrier of public politics to settlements area and the advances, challenges and the importance to increase the schooling to social reproduction in settlements area. To carry out this research we focused on deepening the understanding in bibliographic researches, stating on previous researches and structured interviews with manager teachers, head of teachers, and leadership from settlements in order to prove or not the rural development in Sao Paulo State.
