Abstract

Researchers interested in using bioinformatics equipment or requesting bioinformatics analyzes should submit their proposals or requests to the member of the Management Committee (CG), via e-mail. The proposals should detail the scope of research, the analyzes that will be carried out and the estimated time of use of the equipment. The proposals will be evaluated on a first-come, first-served basis and analyzed for feasibility of execution and equipment availability. The user will have access to the equipment under the supervision of a designated technician by the CG. The costs of access to the UMB and the services provided will be studied in each case, taking into account the time and intensity of use of the equipment and hours dedicated by the responsible technician. In return, the user must express thanks to FAPESP / UMB / IB in any scientific communication (scientifica article, presentations in congresses, etc.) originated from the results obtained by using the UMB and communicating to the CG providing the references of the communication. Theresults of UMB use will be reported annually to the User Committee. (AU)
