Abstract

SUMMARY ANNUAL PLAN 1 - AUDIOVISUAL CONTENT PRODUCTION STUDIO. The Teaching and Research Institute (IEP) of Hospital de Amor, seeks to improve the work carried out by the Distance Education sector (EaD), which started its activities in 2014, through the coordination of the Cancer Education Center. Since then, the sector has provided online courses and training in Health Education with a focus on cancer through a Virtual Learning Environment (VLE). These courses aim to train researchers, master's, doctoral, post-doctoral, education and health professionals technically, as well as to prepare them to act with the awareness of the community, in the areas of Continuing Education, Postgraduate, Residency and Primary Care.Currently, the EaD platform has 7,800 registered users, with 1,500 active users, which are employees of the Hospital, teachers, doctors, students of the Lato and Stricto Sensu Postgraduate Program, researchers, scholarship holders, teachers and students from the public and private schools, distributed among the 29 trainings made available.Due to the increase in the flow of registered users, in the various courses offered by the Hospital de Amor online education, there was a need to create a new structure, to accommodate the growing demand. Therefore, it was noted the need of appropriated studio for the recording of video lessons, with better logistics in a conducive environment to be performed, with optimization of a planned space with ready acoustics to suit various recording models. In addition, the advantages of the infrastructure include better image quality, editing, sound, equipment and gain in production time. SUMMARY ANNUAL PLAN 2. The Bioinformatics sector emerged in 2014 as a result of the demand from the Molecular Oncology Research Center (CPOM) to process data derived from genomics international collaborations, such as The Cancer Genome Atlas and the International Cancer Genome Consortium. Currently, 2 employees with postdoctoral degrees, 1 postdoctoral fellow and 1 project fellow with a master's degree are hired. Despite the growth of the staff in recent years, the sector has a very high demand, being involved in almost all projects of graduate students of the CPOM. In this context, the acquisition of software for genomic data analysis is fundamental in order to facilitate the flow of data analysis, increasing scientific results and allowing students to carry out their analysis. This document points out the main needs that would serve the majority of the students and researchers of the CPOM. (AU)
