Abstract

Our exchange activities consist of working on two research sub-projects( Analysis of Aggregated Energy Consumption Data, Big Data Analytics for Energy Management) described in details in the project. These subprojects will allow the team to bring all researchers to a common ground by generating research in Statisticsand Software Engineering to advance the state-of-the-art and technology in the energy managementdomain. We have planned our research activities in a such a way to allow the entire team to get together twice at Western plus one research mission of Dr. de Souza to UNICAMP. In addition, Dr. de Souza and Dr. Capretz will also financially support two graduate students to workpartially on the sub-projects (one student per sub-project). These students will be co-supervised by allfour members in the team. (AU)
