Abstract

S.aureus is the most frequently isolated pathogen of mastitis cases, causing great economic losses to milk producers when compared to other pathogens causing mastitis. Still in the 21st century, an alternative was not found to eliminate this disease instead of the herds, affecting the largest countries producing milk worldwide. Because it is a multifactorial cause disease that involves a series of efforts at several levels in an attempt to minimize the damage caused by it. With this, many studies have tried to find alternatives, such as the development of vaccines against S. aureus, but none of the vaccines developed to date have been able to induce an efficient immune response, and a probable cause for this event is related to the fact that the vaccines developed against this pathogen should focus on the T-cell response, thus making them effective. Another limiting factor is the lack of knowledge about the protective power of proteins encoded by the S. aureus genome, making the challenge of developing an even greater vaccine. The aim of the present study was to evaluate the stimulation-induced immune response of six different proteins isolated from S. aureus (F0F1 ATP synthase subunit alpha (SAS), succinyl-diaminopimelate desuccinylase (SDD), cysteinyl-tRNA synthetase (CTS), (CFA) and enolase (ENO), related to bacteriological cure and prevention of new intramammary infections caused by S. aureus in dairy cows in different production profiles (multicentric model), by (CD21 +), CD4 + T, CD8 + T, and gamma-delta T cells (WC1), in addition to their respective subpopulations of B (CD21 +), T- lymphocytes (CD3 +), CD4 + T, CD8 + T, B (CD21 +) and gamma-delta (WC1) memory T cells (CD45RO +). this study evaluate the potential of proteins related to healing bac and prevention of new infections in the induction of humoral immune response.
