Abstract
This project is concerned with semilinear waves equations in the modern context of infinite-dimensional dynamical systems. It also involves modeling of real world applications. The main interest are the wave equations featuring two particular properties, namely, supercritical forcing terms and locally distributed damping. Such problems require a fine analyzes involving the concept of observability and unique continuation. (AU)
