Abstract

At the time of an endodontic retreatment to resolve an unsuccessful endodontic treatment, several resources may be employed in order to obtain satisfactory results. One of the resources used is to propose the sanification of the waste material of the obturator material, of the root canals in the disbilling with the use of the ultrasound, using in both situations irrigating solutions with mechanized systems and instruments with variations of composition and form of use. The objective of the project is to propose a new protocol for preparation for intra-radicular pin, aiming at a greater preservation of dental structure, and improving and / or increasing the resistance to fracture, considering the aesthetic and functional reestablishment of the dental element. The results will be analyzed by computerized micro - tomography and scanning electron microscopy, evaluating the different systems qualitatively and quantitatively in the following aspects: cleaning - checking presence of debris and residual remnants of sealant material and wear of dental structure. The project has, by means of the analysis by transmission electron microscopy, to analyze the presence of the collagen fibers in the root dentin in human teeth, after the procedure of sanification of the root canals with sodium hypochlorite 2 , 5%, and 17% EDTA, since the collagen fibers present may interfere with the adhesiveness of a resinous cement in cases where there is a need for intraradicular retainers, these results will be analyzed by means of a Push-out test. For this, 3 subprojects will be carried out. (AU)
