Abstract

This research project aims to identify and discuss the choices done by the professionals working in municipalities secretaries of education when dealing with the BNCC. The invitation to them aims (1) re-elaborate the curriculum proposals of the municipalities, (2) produce didactical tools, (3) revise the pedagogical projects of the schools and (4) develop the in-service teaching formation. So, the research concerns in searching elements to base the debates on the curriculum policies - especially around the BNCC. The analysis will focus the curriculum selections in two school matters: Portuguese and Natural Sciences. The school knowledge will be a central concern. The following research procedures will be mobilized to do that: documental analysis and semistructured interviews. The theoretical and methodological references will join contributions of the following themes: curriculum, school knowledge, Portuguese and Science Teaching. (AU)
