Abstract

The project aims at describing and understanding the communicational dimension and network structure of open innovation processes in Brazilian companies. From the theoretical framework on open innovation, initially developed by Henry Chesbrough, and from Milton Santos' theory on network geography, this research will use a multi-method approach. In its first phase, the phenomenon will be explored through a semistructured interview, seeking to typify unknown attributes that will be identified in the corpus. Then, based on the qualitative phase, an exploratory survey will be developed and applied, the result of which will be analyzed through descriptive statistics and clusters analysis. (AU)
