Abstract

This proposal for CPCT actions aims to support the project "Research on research and innovation:indicators, methods and evidence of impacts" (Process nº 21/15091-8), which focuses on conducting frontier research on indicators and methods on trends and dynamics in the production of scientific and technological knowledge, its links with the use of knowledge through innovation and its consequences on society. The expansion of the concept of excellence to highlight research carried out with quality and scientific rigor and the search for indicators and methods of impacts beyond the scientific and technological sphere have driven a movement of diversification and creation of evidence of impacts in multiple dimensions, which increasingly influence the guidelines and practices of funding agencies, research and higher education organizations and government agencies.This communication proposal should support the aforementioned project, following on from previous projects focused on Science, Technology and Innovation (CTI) indicators in the State of São Paulo. It is, therefore, a strategic project, mainly because it adds the challenge of developing and applying analysis, evaluation and measurement methodologies, working at the frontier of knowledge of what has been called "research on research" or "science of science policy".The Mídia Ciência scholarship will work in the communication of the process and results of the project, as well as events and partnerships, in order to disseminate the knowledge produced; strengthen public communication on S&T and strengthen relations with the communication team of IG, Unicamp and Fapesp.
