Abstract

One of the current challenges of the National Health System (SUS) still regards the consolidation of an assistance model that focuses the attention not only to diseases but also to the determinants of health conditions within a given population. We highlight the need to invest in training health professionals with mastery of skills and competencies that cover this wider view of the health-illness. Many of the difficulties pointed out by professionals that work more closely the population relates to the lack of technologies to operationalize the actions of Health Promotion in this perspective of enlargement of the object, overcoming the limited vision and dichotomy that contrasts the health and disease. The challenges of new technologies in health are the identification and apprehension of the health professionals of this new work object, moving it from the disease for life, for the needs of individuals, groups and community.Purpose: This project contributes to the systematization and evaluation of a process in the perspective adopted by the Program of Technological Development in Health Supplies (PDTIS) proposed by Oswaldo Cruz Foundation. In this program the technology are conceived as products, processes and services that impact on public health to meet the needs of health, social and economic of the country. The theme covers the process of dissemination of technologies for early childhood development from the university extension, seen as a pillar of the university that confers differential for a more immediate possibility of articulation with the various segments of society. It can only be designed if combined with teaching and research, which already have objectively measurable indicators. Objectives: 1. To recognize the inclusion of the content of Child Development in the areas of teaching, research and extension in colleges / universities; 2. To document the participation of representatives of colleges / universities in the deployment of technologies for Child Development in municipalities; 3. To assess the contribution of the communitarian project of FMCSV due to the inclusion of concepts and technologies for Child Development in teaching, research and transferring them through the extension of universities participants; 4. To develop indicators for monitoring this process in order to create a software to record and amplify the visibility of extension actions related to projects.Methodology: This project was built in the scope of participatory research, to determine and intervene in reality on which to search. The methodological option is justified by the participatory nature of the whole process of implementing community projects in municipalities, where universities are partners specially responsible for the dissemination of new technologies for Child Development Care. Ethical Aspects: As this is a research involving educational institutions, this research project will be submitted for review and approval of research ethics committees of each institution involved.Impact Study: The results can contribute to produce knowledge that expands the visibility of the processes of university extension and point quality indicators of these processes.
