Abstract

Yellow Fever is an endemical viral borne disease, prevented by vaccination. However, for its efficacy, the patient must be immunocompetent. Patients who were submitted to open heart surgery in the neonatal period usually have the thymus surgically removed. The objective of this project is to evaluate wheter these patients present an adequate response to Yellow Fever virus. (AU)
