Application plan for Institutional Technical Reserve of Institutional Research Infrastructure of Campus de Rosana - 2020

Abstract

Among the guidelines of university mission, the research has played a fundamental role for society to develop, associated with quality teaching and extension to and with the external community. In recent years Rosana Campus has been outstanding in the area of research with an increase in funds raised for this important university tripod. The volume of publications in periodicals and events has grown systematically, Currently, the Campus has scholarships for scientific initiation (FAPESP, CNPq, R & D Projects, Unesp) and 11 (eleven) projects with external financing (FAPESP, CNPq, R & D). With this volume of projects, the Campus has been striving to provide physical space for all to develop their research in the best possible way, even in a scenario of scarce investment resources. The Campus does not currently have a research facility and all laboratories and research groups are being installed in existing facilities, from administrative and academic rearrangements. In this sense, the resources of the Institutional Technical Reserve will be invested in 2020 in the installation of a laboratory container to expand the offer of physical spaces for Campus research projects and installation of research groups as done in 2019. The intention is to acquire a container for a laboratory of energy efficiency studies with applications in the area of Tourism and Energy Engineering. Other laboratories will be deployed when necessary with Campus own resources and demands already presented to University Central Administration also in the format of container for being a quick, cheap and sustainable solution. This measure does not imply that no effort will be made to construct an appropriate research space on the Campus. The furniture (tables, chairs) and other items are already being made viable by the Campus. Such space will be of importance for exchange of experiences between students and teachers to further contribute to the quantitative and qualitative growth of Campus research. (AU)
