Abstract

In this project, I propose to continue my research on improvisation and collective practices of musical creation, this time focusing on the activities of a group that I have coordinated for more than 10 years at ECA / USP: the Orquestra Errante. It is worth mentioning that the Orquestra has been, during all these years, one of my main fields of investigation on the subject of improvisation. However, the group had never been the focus of my investigations. In this project, I intend to investigate the micropolitical dimension of the activities developed by the group, conceived as a form of resistance to the captures of desire undertaken by capitalism. In this sense, I relate the assemblages that occur in the creative environment of the Orquestra Errante to the insurgency strategies proposed by the psychoanalyst Suely Rolnik (ROLNIK, 2019) against what she calls the pathologies of the colonial capitalist regime. A detailed examination of the assemblage of this creation and improvisation laboratory reveals ways of micropolitical cooperation that establish a clinical-aesthetic-political pragmatics among its members that works as a kind of antidote against the corruption of the desire undertaken by the macro and micropolitics of contemporary capitalism, here thought of as a kind of totalitarian assemblage. This theme has been addressed by me in several articles and texts published in books and scientific journals (COSTA, RLM, 2021; BONAFÉ, V; COSTA, RLM 2020; COSTA, RLM, 2020; COSTA, RLM, 2019 and COSTA, RLM, 2017 ). The idea is to deepen and systematize these previous investigations. (AU)
