Abstract

Unlike traditional (wired) computer networks, ad hoc networks do not have available infrastructure and the nodes themselves must carry out the work of routing and forwarding packets, and they also have to coordinate access to the common means of communication. Among the specific cases of these networks, there are wireless sensor networks whose applications are part of IoT (Internet of Things) networks. So, this field of study presents challenging problems of scheduling, coordination, control and efficiency in network communication, and still has many unanswered questions. The general objective of this research project is to establish new protocols for efficient communications over long distances in IoT and sensor networks by applying artificial intelligence techniques and implementing them on real platforms. Communication protocols will allow you to deploy a framework of software-defined networkson long-distance technology, in order to provide the creation of a multi-hop network. Also, in the sequence, the design and implementation of the integration of optimization strategies of communication and security protocols explored in this project will be carried out. (AU)
