Elliptic problems involving the (1,q)-laplacian and the double-phase operator

Abstract

In this project we propose the study of some quasilinear elliptic problems involving the (1,q)-laplacian operator, which consists in the limit of (p,q)-laplacian problems, as p converges do 1. In general, the solutions of this sort of problem are used to have more regularity than those ones of 1-laplacian problems. This allows us to study them in usual Sobolev spaces. In this project, we also will be interested in double-phase type problems, when the parameter p goes to 1. In order to maximize the benefits of this project, we aim to link to it a proposal in FAPESP - SPRINT line of support, in order to involve a researcher from Technische Universität Berlin. (AU)
