Abstract

Professor John M. Andresen will collaborate on an ongoing research project funded by Fapesp (process 2022/07856-7), which is carried out within the scope of the Combustion and Carbon Capture Laboratory (LC3). This project focuses on the energy recovery of municipal solid waste. Additionally, his contribution is planned through teaching a class in the graduate program, addressing topics related to products and renewable fuels from biomass. This international visit will enrich the students' knowledge and foster potential collaborations between institutions. Furthermore, the professor will lecture at the Center for Excellence in Scientific Laboratories (CLaCE) at the School of Engineering and Sciences (FEG-Unesp), focusing on energy efficiency. This event will be widely promoted, aiming to involve students, researchers, technicians, and faculty members from the institution and other interested institutions. (AU)
