Abstract

Materials Science is an interdisciplinary field of study that plays a central role in innovation and technological advancement in several areas, contributing to significant improvements in products, processes and sustainability.Universidade Estadual Paulista is a national reference in the area of Materials with an impact on different specialties in the area, particularly in the field of Nanotechnology. Based on UNESP's Bauru campus, the UNESP Nanotechnology Research Center (CPNano) has fifty associated researchers, consisting of one of the largest multi-user laboratories at UNESP. Furthermore, Bauru is the administrative center of the Postgraduate Program in Materials Science and Technology (POSMAT), which integrates materials research activities from the various UNESP campuses, promoting their development and focusing their objectives on the training of human resources. highly qualified in the area. POSMAT has forty-eight permanent professors on its supervisory staff and currently handles one hundred and twelve master's theses and one hundred and twenty-nine doctoral theses.The present proposal aims to strengthen CPNano and POSMAT research, implementing multi-user instrumentation for characterizing materials and chemical processes for UNESP.
