Abstract

The research project emphasizes the diversity and variety of research topics representing the fields of interest of the researchers in differential geometry in the state of São Paulo. In Riemannian geometry, we have submanifold theory with prescribed curvature, geometric foliations, isoperimetric problems and their generalizations, and the intrinsec geometry of symmetric spaces. In semi-Riemannian geometry, we have immersions with prescribed curvature, and applications of homology of Morse. Finally, in isometric actions of Lie groups, we have the geometry and topology of the orbits. (AU)
