Abstract

This work proposes the analysis, design and implementation of new DC to DC and DC to AC converters, applied to stand-alone photovoltaic power generation systems in AC, considering reduced power losses and high power densities for the converters. Furthermore, this research proposes the design, and implementation of a maximum power point tracking (MPPT) sub-system, including the management, supervision and control for the sub-systems (PV modules, DC-DC and DC-AC converters), through the use of digital techniques.
