Abstract

The evaluation of the effectiveness of programs of promotion of the health is a concern of researchers and managers, however the scientific production is still small, especially in Brazil. The promotion of the physical activity started to occupy prominence space in the field of the public health for the positive impact in several indicators of health, mainly in the degenerative chronic diseases, as well as in the impact of the costs of health. Like this the objective of this project will be to evaluate the process of municipalization of the Agita São Paulo Program, in the State of São Paulo, in what it refers to the conceptual aspects assumed by the program in the municipal level, to the procedural aspects related to the implementation and the political aspects expressed by the economical and structural supports offered by the city halls and of local partners. For so much it will be evaluated three groups: The general coordinators (n=6), the regional coordinators of the Agita São Paulo Program (n=17) that work in the Regional Department of the Health of the State office of the Health of the State of São Paulo and the responsible for the municipal programs (n=66) that received budget of Ministry of Health among the years of 2006 and 2008.
